Red and white wine bottles should be packed upside-down or on their sides. That way, the corks will remain wet and prevent oxidation or spoilage. On the other hand, champagne and sparkling wines should remain in an upright position during packing and moving. After the move, you should wait at least seven days to open the bottles. During transport, the movement of the truck can lead to bottle shock, and opening the bottles too soon can result in loss of flavor.

Electronics

Most product manuals include manufactures’ advice for packing and storing devices. You can also consult manufactures’ websites for details on how to best protect your devices. Additionally, it is helpful to save the original boxes and packing materials that your devices came in.
